Will you please refer to Galsworthy's letter of 30th July, 1947 about the Hong Kong War Memorial Fund Ordinance ?

I now enclose for your information a copy of an amending ordinance which was passed on the 28th January 1948, to bring dependant parents of deceased persons within the scope of the Fund. We see no objection to this modification, and propose to inform the Governor that His Majesty will not be advised to exercise his power of disallowance in this case.
